BUILDING MAINTENANCE
ISOMEC offers a routine maintenance service and a repair maintenance service for existing buildings, performing the restoration and protection of visible reinforced concrete, roof maintenance (removal and repositioning of tiles, waterproofing and insulation) and facade recoating with thermal and acoustic insulation.
Reinforced concrete is subject to deterioration due to surface dissolution of the conglomerate and the presence of smaller or deeper cracks caused by carbonation and oxidation of metal reinforcements. The most immediate consequence of these problems is the cracking and the expulsion of the concrete cover, which weaken the structure and make it appear degraded.
To solve this problem the concrete cover is completely removed; the protection of iron reinforcements by passivation and adhesion promoters are applied to facilitate the subsequent recovery of the coating shaving.
ISOMEC also installs carbon fibre bands on elements of the buildings resulting in reinforcement and structural consolidation and seismic adaptation.
In this way the safety, aesthetics and durability of the building are improved. Throughout 2015 it is also possible to carry out these works benefiting from 50% cost saving staggered over 10 years.
